Indian Independence Day

(Poem 3)

Desh mera tha sone ki chidiya,

Fenk ke sarie utaar ke chudiya.

Abb yha doole pashchmi gudiya,

Soona le gye bedard firangi,

Roye chidiya dekh paido pe tangi.

Itihaas tha jiski mahan gaatha,

Aaj wha samaaj bna do-rangi.

Uske hi tan ke do hisse,

Bharat – Pak,

Tyaar kde ladne ko parmanu jangi,

Kahi kho gye mahan neta,

Desh ab jhole chale bedangi.

Ugarwaad ghaplo se huyi halat badrangi,

Intzaar he uss khush numa pall ka,

Jab santo ki paawn dharti par,

Khilega koi naik farista, barsaane ko megh satrangi.
